What we do
Our Programs
Three pillars of change: education, healthcare, and economic empowerment — all designed to lift families in Petite Place Cazeau.
Education and School Sponsorship
Education is at the heart of everything we do. Many children in Petite Place Cazeau
cannot attend school simply because their families cannot afford uniforms, books, and
fees. Through our sponsorship program, we match caring donors — our Marenn and Parenn —
with individual children, providing the resources they need to stay in school and succeed.
Education sponsorship includes uniforms, book fees, tuition, tutoring, meals, and
transportation support when needed — typically $250 to $300 per student per year.
We also partner with two neighborhood schools to ensure quality instruction and safe
learning environments. Sponsored children receive daily meals, school supplies, uniform
assistance, and mentoring from local educators and volunteers.
Get involvedClinic
Access to basic healthcare is a daily challenge in Petite Place Cazeau. Our Clinic
program brings medical services directly to the community, providing consultations,
treatments, and health education for families who otherwise have little or no access
to doctors or medicine.
We partner with local nurses and visiting medical volunteers to run regular clinics,
distribute essential medications, and teach preventive care — because healthy children
can learn, and healthy parents can provide.

Small Business Support
Economic empowerment starts at the household level. We provide micro-grants, business
training, and ongoing mentorship to mothers and guardians who want to start or grow a
small vending business. Whether it is selling food, household goods, or handmade items,
these small enterprises generate income that pays for children's meals and school fees.
Our founders proved this model works in 1990, and today we continue expanding it — one
family, one business, one future at a time.

“I was once a Marenn-Parenn sponsored child. The school fees, the meals, the encouragement — that is what kept me going. Today I own Sensationnel Studio, right here in my own neighborhood. I employ other women, I support my family, and I can finally give back to the children who are where I used to be.”
